We had a wonderful time at the Stoke Fair. It was a beautiful day and a good turnout. The display piece for the 'Under The Sea' members only pieces looked really nice, so can't wait for that to be released. There were also Felix specials in the bran tub, one with a silver bow tie and the other with a gold. We also saw a prototype of a Betty Boop due to be released later on in the year. It is completely different from her usual sexy image. It has Betty riding a unicorn/horse and looks very whimsical. I think David and Russell from C&S Collectables are still deciding on the colourway. We were able to get lots of goodies! Keith bought the 'Traveller' Betty Boop, miniature Gold Swan and 'Trusty' the eight year loyalty piece for me. I bought the blue 'Bow Tie' Felix, Gaffer on Elephant money box, and a blue colourway Friar Tuck for Keith. I also bought a 1 of 20 'Black Glitter Dress' Betty Boop, a 1 of 20 'Princess' pink lustre dress Betty Boop, a 1 of 20 yellow polka dot 'Beach Belle' Betty Boop, a 'Bonzo' dog wearing a t-shirt with his name written on it and a first whimsie swan. The photographs below are of some of the pieces we bought. We had a lovely time and it was really nice to meet up with friends. I hope you have enjoyed reading about our time at the fair.
